I’m Tony Alonso, and Wild Skies Astrophotography is my backyard window on the night sky. I shoot from Central Florida, just outside Walt Disney World, where the sky is brighter than I’d like but still full of surprises, and I take trips to darker sites when I can.

I started in 2021 with a little Stellina smart telescope, and some of my favorite early nights were out back with my son Kaiden, chasing Jupiter and Saturn. Since 2023 I’ve been shooting deep sky with dedicated gear, spending many hours on each target.

For me, this hobby is about wonder. Every image starts as faint light that the eye can barely see, gathered patiently over many hours until the shapes and colors come through. Seeing those details come together never gets old, and it points me back to the One who made them.
